YOGA CLASSES

Pax Programs offers a series of Hatha yoga classes for all ages and abilities. Skyelar teaches a flow-based or Vinyasa style of hatha yoga which incorporates the principles of Vijnana yoga that focuses on the myofacial lines of the body. Using traditional yoga asanas (postures), students are encouraged to work with a deep inner connection which exists through the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and facia in the body. When using these connections, the postures become effortless and the body opens in new and exciting ways.

As with all hatha yoga, this practice builds strength, promotes flexibility, improves posture, expands the breath and cultivates relaxation.

All classes are taught at Parkgate Community Centre close to Mt. Seymour Parkway and Mt. Seymour Road.
